The Company

This international contractor specialises in delivering large-scale turnkey data centre projects across Europe, covering civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning services.

With multiple hyperscale developments currently underway across Europe, the company has established itself as a leading delivery partner within the mission critical sector, known for technical expertise, programme delivery, and high-quality project execution.

Due to continued expansion in Sweden, they are now seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join a major data centre project in Skellefteå.

The Role: Electrical Construction Manager

The Electrical Construction Manager will take responsibility for managing all electrical construction activities across a large-scale data centre project from installation through to commissioning and handover.

Working closely with Project Managers, Planners, subcontractors, consultants, and the wider site team, you will ensure electrical works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role suits an experienced Electrical Construction Manager with strong site leadership experience, technical expertise, and a proven ability to drive programme delivery on large-scale construction projects.

Must Have Requirements

• Must have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or similar discipline
• Minimum 7 years’ experience within electrical construction and site management required
• Proven experience required managing electrical systems on large-scale construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, programme delivery, and subcontractor coordination
• Proven ability required managing electrical subcontractors and driving project delivery

Preferred Experience

• Data centre, industrial, or mission critical project experience preferred
• Experience managing QA/QC processes and commissioning activities beneficial
• Strong commercial awareness and variation management experience advantageous
• Experience leading large site teams within fast-paced construction environments beneficial

Nice to Have

• European project experience
• BIM or digital construction platform experience
• Experience supporting energisation and integrated systems testing

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all electrical construction activities across the project lifecycle
• Lead day-to-day electrical site operations in coordination with the wider project team
• Ensure QA/QC processes are implemented and maintained in line with project specifications
• Coordinate project schedules with planners, consultants, subcontractors, and design teams
• Manage electrical subcontractor performance including progress tracking and manpower coordination
• Ensure all subcontractor and safety documentation is maintained and up to date
• Attend and lead site meetings, engineering reviews, planning meetings, and handover meetings
• Liaise with the design team regarding technical submittals and construction information
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure buildability and compliance
• Drive a strong health & safety culture across all electrical site activities
• Support commercial management through variation tracking and cost management
• Prepare and issue progress reports to senior management and project teams
• Manage electrical snagging activities and ensure timely close-out of issues
• Identify and resolve technical, design, and coordination issues proactively on-site

About You

You are an experienced Electrical Construction Manager with a strong background delivering large electrical packages within mission critical, industrial, or large-scale construction environments.

You have strong leadership and communication skills, understand programme delivery, and can effectively coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary site teams within demanding project environments.

You are technically strong, commercially aware, and focused on maintaining high safety and quality standards while driving projects through to completion.
