This international contractor specialises in delivering large-scale turnkey data centre projects across Europe, covering civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning services.
With multiple hyperscale developments currently under construction across Europe, the company has established itself as a leading delivery partner within the mission critical sector, known for technical expertise, programme delivery, and high-quality project execution.
Due to continued expansion in Finland, they are now seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a major data centre project in Vaasa.
The Role: Electrical Engineer
The Electrical Engineer will play a key role in supporting the coordination, technical delivery, and installation of electrical systems on a large-scale data centre project.
Working closely with subcontractors, consultants, package managers, and the wider project team, you will ensure electrical works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
This role is ideal for an Electrical Engineer looking to gain exposure to major mission critical projects while developing their career within the rapidly growing data centre sector.
Must Have Requirements
You are a technically strong Electrical Engineer with experience working on construction, building services, or industrial projects.
You have strong organisational skills, enjoy working within multidisciplinary teams, and can coordinate effectively with subcontractors, consultants, and site teams to ensure successful project delivery.
You are proactive, detail-oriented, and focused on delivering high-quality engineering solutions within demanding project environments.

Must Have Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline required
- Proven experience working on large-scale electrical construction projects
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation methodologies, and site coordination
- Experience reviewing drawings, technical documentation, and project specifications
- Excellent communication and organisational skills required
- Data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, or mission critical project experience preferred
- Experience managing subcontractors and technical packages beneficial
- Knowledge of commissioning and testing procedures advantageous
- Experience using digital document control systems preferred
- Euopean project experience
- BIM or digital construction platform experience
- Exposure to commissioning and handover activities
- Ensure all works are delivered in compliance with project quality, safety, and technical standards
- Review, coordinate, and manage project drawings and technical documentation
- Provide technical guidance and support to subcontractors throughout project delivery
- Assist with planning, prioritising, and allocating technical tasks to meet project deadlines
- Monitor subcontractor compliance with project and health & safety requirements
- Identify technical issues and implement effective corrective actions where required
- Support document control processes and maintain accurate project records
- Prepare handover documentation and testing packs for commissioning activities
- Coordinate with consultants, package managers, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Support installation inspections, quality checks, and project close-out activities
