Are you an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager looking to step into a senior role with real ownership of delivery on a major projects in Dublin?
Your new company is a well-established mechanical contractor with a strong pipeline of large-scale projects across the commercial, industrial and mission-critical sectors.
Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a seasoned Mechanical Contracts Manager to take full responsibility for the successful delivery of a flagship project in South Dublin, working closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders from pre-construction through to final handover.
This is a senior position offering genuine autonomy, influence over programme and commercial outcomes, and long-term progression within a growing organisation.
Mechanical Contracts Manager Responsibilities:
Salary will be DOE but you can expect at least €90,000 plus package.

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a seasoned Mechanical Contracts Manager to take full responsibility for the successful delivery of a flagship project in South Dublin, working closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders from pre-construction through to final handover.

Mechanical Contracts Manager Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of the mechanical contract from award through to completion
- Develop and control project budgets, cost plans and commercial forecasts
- Lead and coordinate multiple site and project teams to ensure programme and quality targets are achieved
- Manage subcontractor performance, ensuring works are delivered safely, to specification and on programme
- Work closely with design teams to identify and mitigate programme and technical risks early
- Support the commercial team with cost control, variations, forecasts and reporting
- Oversee procurement strategies and material delivery schedules to align with programme milestones
- Ensure full compliance with current Health & Safety legislation and company procedures
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams
- Provide clear and accurate progress, cost and risk reporting to senior management
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- 10 years’ experience delivering mechanical projects within a contracting environment
- Proven track record managing multiple projects or large-scale single projects
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, variations and forecasts
- Excellent leadership, planning and stakeholder management skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
- Highly organised with the ability to manage complex programmes and competing priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project reporting tools
