Job title: Quantity Surveyor – MEP Data Centre
Location: Espoo / Kirkkonummi, Finland
Company: International Data Centre Contractor
Package: €75,000 to €90,000 DOE + European package
The Company
This international contractor delivers large-scale turnkey data centre projects across Europe, covering civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical works through to commissioning.
They are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a major data centre project in Finland, with private accommodation, a €250 per week net allowance and rotational options included.
The Role: Quantity Surveyor
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will take commercial responsibility for key MEP subcontract packages from procurement through to final account.
You will work closely with the project and commercial teams, managing subcontractors, valuations, variations, claims, cost reporting and cash flow throughout the project.
Must Have Requirements
You are an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong commercial knowledge and a good technical understanding of MEP installations.
You will be comfortable managing significant subcontract packages, dealing directly with subcontractors and clients and maintaining commercial control on a fast-moving data centre project.

Must Have Requirements
- 5+ years’ Quantity Surveying experience with a main contractor or specialist contractor.
- Relevant Quantity Surveying or construction-related degree.
- Strong commercial understanding of mechanical and electrical installations.
- Proven experience managing subcontract packages from procurement through to final account.
- Data centre or mission-critical project experience preferred.
- MEP Quantity Surveying experience particularly beneficial.
- Buildsoft, CostX or similar software experience advantageous.
- Procure and commercially manage key MEP subcontract packages.
- Prepare work packages, ITTs, budgets and tender analysis.
- Manage subcontractor payments, valuations, variations, claims and final accounts.
- Prepare and agree client valuations.
- Monitor project costs, cash flow and commercial performance.
- Produce regular cost/value and financial reports.
- Negotiate variations and final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
- Support junior members of the commercial team.
