Overview:

This is a strong opportunity to join an established Irish Main Contractor delivering a high-value, multi-storey hotel project with a technically demanding structural package, significant reinforced concrete works and a high quality internal fit out.

The project includes a multi storey contemporary building with substantial basement construction, structural and RC works, extensive building services, high specification finishes and associated external works and landscaping.

The contractor has an excellent track record of delivering challenging and prestigious projects throughout Britain and Ireland across the commercial, hospitality, residential, education and cultural sectors.

They are known for taking on interesting projects where quality and attention to detail matter, while maintaining a supportive working environment where Engineers are encouraged to develop their technical knowledge and take on greater responsibility as their experience grows.

For an ambitious Site Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to learn from a highly experienced project team while gaining the experience needed to progress towards Senior Engineer and Site Management positions in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out accurate setting out and surveying for structural, civil and building works throughout the project.

  • Work from drawings, specifications and design information to ensure construction is completed accurately and to the required standards.

  • Complete site inspections, quality checks and associated engineering records as works progress.

  • Work alongside the Senior Engineer and site management team to plan upcoming activities and identify engineering requirements in advance.


Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.

  • 2+ years of experience working as a Site Engineer in Ireland and/or Britain.

  • Strong setting out experience with confidence in using modern surveying equipment.

  • Experience working on RC frame, structural or multi-storey building projects.


The Package:

Salary will be DOE, but you can expect in the region of £50,000 - £60,000, along with Vehicle & Fuel/Living Away Allowance + Flights & Accommodation (if required).
